About Faces
At a retreat held by the Board of Directors of Emmanuel College Education in 2002, it was resolved to have a properly constituted Former Students Association. A steering committee of graduates representing all years gathered and the Association of Former Students of Emmanuel College was born.
The positive feedback from past students regarding the Association’s formation has been overwhelming, and so it should be. The body of Emmanuel College past students is growing extremely large, and the combined energy of every member presents a huge resource which can be used for everyone’s benefit. FACES was therefore formed to provide a mechanism to harness and use this potential for the common good of every Emmanuel College student and past student.
Have you ever wondered what happened to other past students, or lost contact with a College friend? While an obvious and initial task of FACES is to aid in the connection of lost friends and provide the means for contact, it is by no means the only mission. Other objectives include providing support to the College, including present students, through a variety of means and recognising alumni service and career achievement. Procedures will also be developed by which members receive tangible benefits.
Currently FACES is refreshing and updating records of all past students, so please assist us if you contacted by one of our members. It is for your benefit.
There is a definite keenness within the Emmanuel College community, including past students, with regard to the potential FACES presents. The possibilities for student connection, interaction, and involvement in activities both within and outside the College community are almost limitless.
We look forward to serving you.
